    It’s a laugh now, but not for long.
    The sony book reader could probably render the photos because it has a full colour backlit screen. Kindle has optimized for reading so the eInk is not backlit. But they have colour in the “lab” so they say, a ways away. Limitations are battery life and cost.

    I think this form factor, however you want to call it, between mobile phones and laptops, will become an option for magazines, newspapers and reading material, both short and long form.

    It might save newspapers and magazines too if they can get it out soon enough.

    I have my hopes up because we need some alternative to paper delivery, and some alternative to the free meal deal that the internet is.
