Reyes and Thorne Traverse Newark
Maybe I’m just a sucker for binaural recordings (see Quiet American), but I like what zine-publisher Josef Reyes and Tyson Thorne are doing on Conveyer Mag. A walk, some pictures, some sound. Be sure to have headphones for Reyes’ audio…
After a few forays into multimedia, I’m beginning to think that the one-two punch of stills + audio is as effective (or more!) as stills + video. Nothing beats great audio, and binaural is so fantastic. Plus, if you’re photographing, capturing audio at the same time is difficult, but a possibility. Photographing and capturing video is pretty difficult to do at the same time.
