		<description>I was inspired after seeing the Rauschenberg photos of Atget's Paris to try something similar when I was in Dresden, photographing parts of the city now and comparing them to old paintings and photos from before the war - until I went to a book shop (in Dresden) and found a handful of books by people who had already had this idea.

On another rephotographing note - http://www.intwinpeaks.com/ - contains a plethora of images from Twin Peaks taken 'then' and now.</description>

I saw the show, and it was remarkable.  I'm still not sure about the "art" angle of rephotographing, because it really just seems too easy, but outside that concern, they're really fun to look at.</description>
